The pioneering effort was formalized through a Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the QC government, Diocese of Novaliches, Far Eastern University - Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (FEU-NRMF), and UNILAB.
In a bid to not only boost the government’s testing capacity but to ramp up isolation and treatment as well, the Inter-Agency Task Force-National Task Force (IATF-NTF) and the Department of Health (DOH), with support from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), convened the TASK FORCE T3 (for Test, Trace and Treat) to achieve at least 30,000 tests per day by May 30, 2020.

The Doctors’ Hospital Inc. (TDHI), a Mount Grace partner, has announced that it will soon acquire real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR)-based laboratory set-up within its hospital grounds. TDHI initiated the project in collaboration with Mount Grace Hospitals Inc. and United Laboratories Inc. (UNILAB) to help expand the country’s RT-PCR-based testing capability in the ongoing battle against Covid-19.
