In 2008, Unilab was recognized as the first recipient of the Philippine Quality Award (PQA) for Performance Excellence. Since then, no other institution has been recognized with this award. The PQA is the highest level of national recognition for exemplary organizational performance.
Over the years, we’ve built several manufacturing facilities to meet the growing demand for quality healthcare solutions. Each of our facilities strictly and proudly complies with local and international standards of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) for pre- to post-production processes. In Unilab, we want to deliver on our commitment of quality, efficacy, and reliability when it comes to the products you take.
Amherst Laboratories, Inc.
It is the only manufacturing plant in the Philippines which complies with the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards of EU and Singapore, both certified by the Pharmaceutical Inspection Cooperation Scheme (PIC/S).
Amherst Parenterals, Inc.
This plant manufactures liquid parenteral injectable products in ampule and vial formats. It makes use of aseptic and sterilization techniques to ensure sterility of its products.
Amherst Nutraceuticals, Inc.
This facility engages in manufacturing nutritional and functional foods, as well as repackaging of pharmaceutical products.
Asian Antibiotics, Inc.
A toll manufacturing company which produces antibiotic and steroid products in different dosage formats. It is composed of three separate plants which are cGMP compliant manufacturing facilities.
Belmont Softgel Pharma Corporation
This is a GMP compliant and Halal-certified facility with cutting edge pharmaceutical manufacturing technology of products in softgel capsule format.
Unilab Manufacturing Plant
It is our oldest manufacturing plant which produces solid products in the form of tablets and capsules. Some of Unilab’s biggest brands are produced here, such as Bioflu, Enervon, Revicon, and others.Our Distribution Capability
Outside of our growing manufacturing network, our biggest physical infrastructure is our distribution center – First Pioneer Distribution Inc. It is equipped with an advanced and centralized warehouse management system, enabling us to increase logistical efficiencies in distributing products nationwide.
