For the Dietary Management of Patients with Dysphagia

Smooth^® is a transparent instant powder thickener designed for the dietary management of patients with chewing and swallowing disorders (dysphagia) and related clinical situations (e.g., Alzheimer, Parkinson, stroke, maxillofacial surgery). It can thicken all types of liquid or semi-liquid foods (juices, purees, soups, water, etc.), hot or cold. It modifies the texture without affecting the original taste or color. It can achieve the targeted consistency (nectar, honey, pudding) by adding the appropriate amount into the food.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Add the amount of product to the food to be thickened according to the desired consistency. Stir vigorously for 20 to 30 seconds with a fork. Let it rest approximately 3 minutes before consuming.

WARNINGS

• This product is for oral use only.
• The product is not to be used for parenteral administration.
• This product is not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
• This product is not for use in children unless recommended by a doctor or a healthcare professional.

STORAGE CONDITION

• Store in a cool dry place.
• Store at temperatures not exceeding 30^o C.
• Consume contents within 2 months once opened.
