These nutritional supplements are used for the prevention and treatment of deficiencies of vitamin C and zinc. Vitamin C and zinc have important functions:
Vitamin C
The body’s major water-soluble antioxidant which acts as first defense against free radicals in the aqueous (water) phase including blood, plasma and other intracellular and extracellular fluids

Children aged 4-8 years are advised to take 5 mL (1 teaspoonful), while those in the 9-13 years category can consume 5-10 mL (1 to 2 teaspoonsful).
Alternatively, as directed by a doctor, for infants from birth to less than 6 months, the 40 mg/5 mg per mL syrup (oral drops) suggests a daily dosage of 0.5 mL, while those aged 6-11 months are recommended 0.5 to 1 mL, and children aged 1-2 years should take 1 mL. Again, usage may vary as per the doctor's instructions.
