PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
United Home® Burn Ointment is a light yellow, homogeneous ointment with a characteristic odor. It is smooth, free from grittiness and spreads uniformly.
WHAT IS IN THE MEDICINE?
This medicine contains a combination of Benzocaine, Boric Acid, and Eucalyptus. Benzocaine is a topical local anesthetic used to relieve minor pain and itch by numbing nerve endings in the skin. Boric Acid is a mild antibacterial and antifungal agent, and Eucalyptus is a counter-irritant, i.e., an agent that gives the skin a warm feeling by widening the blood vessels in the skin in order to relieve inflammation in underlying or nearby tissues.

WHAT IS THIS MEDICINE USED FOR?
This medicine is used for the temporary relief of pain and itching associated with minor burns.
HOW MUCH AND HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU USE THIS MEDICINE?
United Home® Burn Ointment is for application to intact skin only.
Adults and Children 12 years and older: Apply thinly 2 to 3 times a day, or, as directed by a doctor.- Do not apply to large areas or on broken skin.
- Do not use large amounts or for longer than 7 days.

• Individuals needing protection and faster healing of superficial skin injuries
• Suitable for adults and children, under physician guidance
• Provides a protective barrier over the affected skin
• Soothes pain and irritation
• Supports natural healing and prevents infection
• Clean the affected area gently. Apply a thin layer two (2) to three (3) times daily. Cover with sterile gauze if necessary.
• Continue application until the area has healed.
• Not suitable for deep, severe, or infected burns. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes.
• For children, use under physician or caregiver supervision.
• Generally safe with mild moisturizers
• Avoid using other topical medications on the same area unless advised by a physician.
