Indication

For the treatment of the following infections caused by susceptible microorganisms:

• Acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis
• Community-acquired pneumonia
• Uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections
• Non-gonococcal urethritis and cervicitis
• Acute pelvic inflammatory disease
• Uncomplicated cystitis
• Acute uncomplicated pyelonephritis
• Complicated urinary tract infections
• Prostatitis
• Enteric infections including typhoid fever and shigellosis
