Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938 (manufactured by BioGaia, Sweden)
Powder: This product is a white to off-white powder.

What is in the product

This product contains Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938. L. reuteri is a probiotic which improves digestion. The good bacteria, L. reuteri, can survive the gastric acid in the stomach and bile salts in the upper intestine. They bind to the gastrointestinal (GI) mucus and epithelial cells, and colonize intestines.

What is this product used for?

Enhances intestinal ecology
Improves digestion
Helps enhance natural resistance to intestinal infections

Directions for Use:

  1. Tear off minipack and open where indicated by the arrows.
  2. The powder can be mixed to breast or formula milk, water, oral rehydration solution, or sprinkled on food.
  3. Do not add to hot food or drink as this may damage the live bacteria. The powder does not change the taste of food or drink.
How much and how often should you use this product?
Powder:

Recommended oral use for infants 6 months onwards:
1 to 2 minipacks per day, or as recommended by a doctor.
