Dolfenal 250 mg - Fast & Effective Pain Relief

Dolfenal contains mefenamic acid, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain and inflammation.

It is used for pain such as headache, toothache, dysmenorrhea, postoperative or postpartum pain, and pain associated with musculoskeletal and joint disorders.

Dolfenal provides pain relief in as fast as 15 minutes.

Both contain mefenamic acid in different strengths. Dolfenal 500mg is a prescription drug and must be taken only as directed by a physician.

For adults and adolescents older than 14 years, Dolfenal 250mg may be taken as 1–2 tablets every eight hours as needed. Dolfenal 500mg is usually taken as one tablet every eight hours as prescribed by a physician. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time.

Dolfenal is taken orally and may be taken with food or milk if stomach upset occurs.

Do not take Dolfenal with aspirin or other NSAIDs, such as ibuprofen or naproxen, unless directed by a doctor. Consult your doctor if you are taking other medicines, supplements or herbal products.

Consult a doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding, heart disease, asthma, or liver or kidney problems; if you are taking other medicines; or if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive. It is not recommended for children below 14 years old.

Possible adverse reactions include abdominal pain, indigestion, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, dizziness, headache, rash, itching, swelling and ringing in the ears.

Stop use and seek medical attention immediately if you experience difficulty breathing, facial swelling, a severe skin reaction, vomiting blood, bloody or black stools, faintness or persistent stomach pain.
