FAQs

1. What is the difference between Solmux and Solmux Broncho?

Solmux is a single-ingredient product containing Carbocisteine (Mucolytic) while Solmux Broncho is a fixed-dose combination product containing Salbutamol (bronchodilator) and Carbocisteine (Mucolytic). Carbocisteine is a medicine that causes phlegm to be less thick and sticky and so easier to cough up and expel. Salbutamol is a medicine used for the relief of bronchospasm associated with reversible obstructive airwary disease. In combination, these medicines are used for the symptomatic treatment of productive cough associated with acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and bronchiectasis.*
