OVERDOSE AND TREATMENT
There is no information available on the effects of overdosage in humans and specific recommendations for treatment cannot be given.
IV doses of 270 mg given in a day and up to 650 mg over a three-day period have been given in clinical trials without any dose-related adverse effects. Single oral doses of up to 400 mg have not resulted in any severe symptoms.
As in all cases where overdosing is suspected, treatment should be supportive and symptomatic.
