UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS
The following adverse effects have been reported:
Nervous System: Headache, dizziness, hyperkinesia (in young children), somnolence
Respiratory: Rhinorrhea, cough, influenza, upper respiratory tract infection, nasal congestion, laryngitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis, rhinitis, pneumonia, wheezing, tonsillitis, acute bronchitis, viral infection
GI: Diarrhea, abdominal pain, infectious gastroenteritis, nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, rarely pancreatitis
Laboratory Abnormalities: Increased serum aminotransferase (transaminase) concentration, ALT and AST concentration, pyuria
Dermatological: Rash, eczema, atopic dermatitis, skin infection, urticaria
Other Adverse Effects: Asthenia/fatigue, fever, trauma, otic pain, otitis/otitis media, conjunctivitis, myopia, epistaxis, dental pain, varicella, tooth infection, thirst, very rarely dry mouth
The following additional adverse effects have been reported in post-marketing studies:
Psychiatric: Agitation including aggressive behaviour, anxiousness, dream abnormalities, hallucinations, depression, insomnia, irritability, restlessness, suicidal thinking and behavior (including suicide), tremor
Nervous System: Drowsiness, paresthesia/hypoesthesia, very rarely seizures
GI: Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, very rarely pancreatitis
Immune System: Hypersensitivity reactions including anaphylaxis, very rarely hepatic eosinophilic infiltration
Hepatobiliary: Rare cases of cholestatic hepatitis, hepatocellular liver-injury, mixed pattern liver injury
Dermatologic: Angioedema, bruising, erythema nodosum, pruritus, urticaria
Other Adverse Effects: Myalgia including muscle cramps, arthralgia, palpitation, edema, bruising, increased bleeding tendency
