How to Turn Work Stress into Happiness

Scale back. Cut back on your obligations when possible. Take a close look at your daily, weekly and monthly schedule and find meetings or activities that you can cut back on or delegate to someone else.

Prepare. Schedule your time better and set realistic goals for tasks both big and small.

Reach out. Make or renew connections with others. Surround yourself with supportive family, friends or co-workers

Take up a hobby. Engage in something enjoyable. It can soothe and calm your restless mind.

Relax. Physical activity, meditation, yoga, massage and other relaxation techniques can help you manage stress.

Get enough sleep. Most of us need seven to eight hours of sleep a day. Lack of sufficient sleep affects the immune system. Your mood may also be affected and you are likely to snap over minor irritations.
