What is Diatabs Reformulated for?
Loperamide is used to relieve symptoms of acute and chronic diarrhea. It can also be used in patients with ileostomy to reduce the number and volume of stools and to harden their consistency.

What are the possible side effects when you take Diatabs Reformulated ?
Loperamide can cause allergic reactions, constipation, nausea and vomiting, tiredness, drowsiness or dizziness and dry mouth.

How should I take Diatabs Reformulated?
Consult your doctor for the right dosage.

Is Diatabs Reformulated taken before or after meals?
Loperamide can be taken before or after meals.

Who should not take Diatabs Reformulated? 
Diatabs Reformulated should not be given to patients with known allergy to loperamide and in whom constipation must be avoided. Patients with liver disease should take Diatabs Reformulated with caution. Patients are advised to consult their physician if diarrhea persists or if no clinical improvement is observed within 48 hours. Patients receiving antibiotics should consult their doctor before taking lormide. Diatabs Reformulated should be discontinued when constipation or abdominal distention develops. Lormide should not be used in patients with acute ulcerative colitis or pseudomembranous colitis associated with antibiotics. Diatabs Reformulated is not recommended for acute dysentery which is characterized by high fever and blood in stools. Loperamide is not recommended in children below 14 years of age.

Is Diatabs Reformulated safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women?
Diatabs Reformulated is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women.
