What is Allerin Reformulated?
Allerin is used to relieve symptoms such as cough, nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes in people suffering from common cold, flu, allergic rhinitis, acute laryngitis, acute and chronic pharyngitis. It also controls dry nonproductive cough and allergic cough due inhalation of irritating substances.

Who should not take Allerin Reformulated?
Patients with allergy to the various components of the drug should avoid taking this drug. Allerin Reformulated may cause drowsiness thus patients should observe caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness. Do not take Allerin Reformulated for persistent or chronic cough or when coughing is accompanied by excessive secretions unless directed by a physician. Use Allerin Reformulated with caution in patients with glaucoma, prostatic enlargement(which may result in difficulty in urination), stenosing peptic ulcer, pyloroduodenal obstruction, bladder neck obstruction, hyperthyroidism, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, or diabetes mellitus.

Is Allerin Reformulated drug safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women?
Pregnant women should avoid taking Allerin Reformulated. Use with caution in nursing mothers because antihistamines may be excreted in breast milk.

What other medications should I avoid while taking Allerin Reformulated?
If you are taking anti-cholinergic agents and/or monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors, you should also refrain from taking this drug. Do not use it with alcohol, sleeping pills, or tranquilizers.
