Unilab was awarded Supplier of the Year in the Healthcare category during Watsons 2005 Health and Beauty Awards. Unilab was also honored with Promotions Partner of the Year in the same category.

Other accolades given to Unilab were Vitamin C of the Year for United Home’s Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin E of the Year for Myra 400 E, Cough Remedy of the Year for Solmux, and Cold Remedy of the Year for Neozep. RiteMED Amoxicillin was likewise named Antibacterial Brand of the Year and Celeteque as Moisturizer Brand of the Year.

The Health and Beauty Awards highlighted the special relationship between Unilab and Watsons. From mid-November up to Dec. 31, several awarded products of Unilab enjoyed prominent display in all 130 Watsons stores nationwide.

Distribution Business Development Associate (BDA) Alvy Jean Posadas, Key Accounts Manager for Watsons, was the critical factor for bringing home the recognition for Unilab and for several of the company’s products. Posadas was a nominee for the Key Accounts Manager of the Year award in the healthcare category. This is the first time that Watsons held its awards and recognition night in the Philippines, a tradition that first started in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Unilab was awarded primarily on the basis of sales performance and innovation.
